We’re hiring junior advocates!

Take part in one of the most rewarding, respected, and hands-on experiences at law school. As a Student Advocate, you will have the chance to help McGill students during difficult times, develop and hone your advocacy skills, work with various top university officials, and receive specialized training by leading practitioners.

Currently, we are looking for 15 Junior Advocates who will work under the supervision of four Senior Advocates and the Director. The positions are open to students in 2L, 3L, or 4L, although you must be available for the entire 2018/2019 academic year.

As a Student Advocate, you will also participate in specialized training provided by leading experts, such as:
-Pleading, Oral, and Written Advocacy – Justina Di Fazio, Woods Litigation Boutique
-Negotiating – Catherine Saine, Advisor Cirque du Soleil
-Sexual Violance/Harassment – Émilie Marcotte, OSVRSE
-Mental Health – McGill Counselling and Psychiatric Services
-and more!
